Vic’s Meat Chadstone is seeking a skilled Qualified Butcher to join our premium retail team in Melbourne. This full-time role offers hands-on craft, working with premier beef, Wagyu, lamb and pork, and the chance to contribute to exceptional product quality and service at our flagship Chadstone store.

You will join an experienced team, demonstrate strong knife skills, pride in presentation, and a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified butcher with proven experience in retail butchery.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat preparation and cutting techniques.
• Passion for premium meat and traditional craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, trim, bone and portion a wide range of premium meat products.
• Maintain exceptional standards of meat presentation and quality.
• Provide customers with expert product knowledge and cooking tips.
• Ensure display cabinets are well presented, stocked and maintained.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory management and minimizing waste.
• Uphold high standards of food safety and workplace cleanliness.
• Collaborate with the team to support daily operations.
