Qualifications

• Boilermaker trade qualification required.
• Australian recognition preferred.
• General fabrication experience essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Operates fabrication/welding tools and machinery.
• Ability to measure and cut materials.
• Maintain safety of tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow orders and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Follow approved weld procedures and drawings.
• Position, align, fit and fabricate/weld parts to form complete units.
• Carry out workshop and on-site duties as directed.
• Ensure tools/equipment are well maintained and safe.
• Demonstrate good communication and a can-do attitude.
