Job summary

Collingwood Automotive Repairs Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic/Automotive Technician for a permanent, full-time position in Melbourne. You will work on a diverse range of passenger vehicles, diagnosing and repairing faults while performing servicing and repairs to high standards.

Requirements include a recognised trade qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle), practical workshop experience, your own tools and a current Australian driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Recognised trade qualifications in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle) or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience servicing and repairing a broad range of vehicle makes and models.
• Ability to work with diagnostic equipment and maintain quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Carry out scheduled servicing and repairs across multiple makes and models.
• Identify and resolve issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension and other systems.
• Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify faults and ensure repairs meet safety standards.
• Maintain accurate job records and communicate effectively with the workshop team.
