Job summary

John Cole Toyota - Innisfail is seeking an experienced Accessory Fitter to join our busy Innisfail team. This hands-on role fits a wide range of genuine and aftermarket accessories to new and used vehicles, ensuring work is safe, efficient and up to standard.

You'll be part of a family-owned dealership serving Northern Queensland for 39 years, Monday to Friday, with a focus on quality workmanship and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in automotive accessory fitting or a similar hands-on automotive role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical skills.
• Experience with automotive electrical work would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• A current Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Fitting a variety of vehicle accessories and equipment.
• Installing items such as tow bars, bull bars, roof racks, side steps and other accessories.
• Carrying out basic electrical accessory installations where required.
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to manufacturer standards.
• Checking completed work for quality and correct operation.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area.
• Working closely with our Parts, Service and Sales teams to ensure vehicles are completed on time.

We are currently looking for an experienced Accessory Fitter to join our team in Innisfail.

This is a hands‑on role where you'll be responsible for fitting a wide range of genuine and aftermarket accessories to new and used vehicles, ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
