Job summary

Trumps is seeking a QEHS Manager to lead the integrated Quality, Environment, Health & Safety function across multiple sites in Australia. Reporting to the COO, you will unify Quality and Safety teams, implement shared systems and drive accountability, risk management and continuous improvement.

You will balance regulatory requirements with operational needs, engaging stakeholders from the production floor to senior leadership, and you may expand to cover Product Development.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, WHS or related discipline.
• At least five years' leadership experience in Quality and/or Safety, ideally within food manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of SQF, HACCP, FSANZ and Queensland WHS legislation.
• Experience leading change and improving or integrating teams, systems or functions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage everyone from the production floor to the Senior Leadership Team.
• A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach that balances compliance with operational realities.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing the QEHS team, integrating capabilities.
• Owning and continually improving our quality, food safety, WHS and environmental management systems.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards and customer requirements, including SQF, HACCP, FSANZ and Queensland WHS legislation.
• Overseeing audits, certification, product quality, food safety, incident management, investigations and corrective actions.
• Partnering with Operations and business leaders to improve processes, manage risk and embed quality and safety into everyday operations.
• Building a proactive, collaborative culture where people take ownership, raise issues early and focus on lasting solutions.
