Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Painter/Blaster for mining and resource projects in Queensland. The role requires mine site experience and delivering high standard coating work while adhering to safety and quality procedures.

You will perform abrasive blasting and industrial painting, maintain equipment, and work within a supportive team on permanent roles with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated 5+ years of mine site painting/blasting experience.
• Experience with abrasive blasting and coating application to standards.
• Commitment to safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate painting and blasting equipment safely.

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced localPainter / Blaster to join our team, working across mining and resource projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with previous mine site experience who is looking for their next opportunity.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Carry out abrasive blasting and industrial painting activities in accordance with project specifications
• Follow all site safety, environmental and quality procedures
• Apply protective coatings and paint systems to a high standard
• Maintain painting and blasting equipment and ensure it is operated safely

What you’ll bring:

• At least 5 years previous mine site experience as a Painter/Blaster
• Experience with abrasive blasting surface preparation and industrial coating application
• Reliable attitude with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality work
