Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a Paint & Blast Supervisor to support the Coastal & West Pilbara Operations Core Crew. This Marine Structural Integrity project on Rio Tinto's CLA Wharf focuses on remediation of corrosion through blast and painting and welding.

The successful candidate will supervise paint and blast works, ensuring tasks are completed safely, on time and to high standards. This casual role operates on a 2:1 roster, FIFO from Perth to Karratha.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of supervision experience in mining and minerals.
• NACE preferred.
• Marine Projects experience desirable.
• Familiar knowledge with Rio Tinto processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Paint & Blast crew on the wharf.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to complete remediation works.
• Be the first point of contact for crew seeking leadership and support.
• Liaise effectively between the crew and the client.
• Uphold The Safe Way is the Only Way.

This is an exciting opportunity to join ourMarine Structural Integrity projectonRio Tinto's CLA Wharfas a crucial member of the team. This project is dedicated to the remediation of corrosion to the wharf through blast & paining and welding disciplines. The successful candidate will oversee and supervise paint and blast works on the wharf, ensuring tasks are carried out effectively, within budget, and to highest standards of quality and safety. This is a casual position on a2:1 roster, FIFO from Perth to Karratha. We encourage First nations people and female applicants to apply.

What you’ll bring:
