Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking Blast and Paint Supervisors to join our Goldfields branch on a casual FIFO basis from Perth. You will lead teams of Blast and Paint Crews on projects including structural work, piping installation, tank refurbishments and asset integrity, ensuring safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of supervisory experience, a s26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate, and the ability to obtain a police clearance. First Nations people and women are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience minimum in a supervisory role.
• Proof of Right to Work in Australia.
• Ability to pass National Police Clearance.
• Commitment to safety and team development.

Responsibilities

• Supervising teams of Blaster Painters and Trade Assistants, ensuring works are completed efficiently.
• Work with engineering team to interpret project information and ensure compliance with standards.
• Ensure works are carried out to high quality and safety standards.
• Review and sign off on risk assessments and permits for site tasks.
• Conduct pre-start briefings so all team members are informed and prepared.
• Liaise between client representatives and core crew on scope and schedule.

Monadelphous Mining and Minerals Southern is seeking Blast and Paint Supervisors to join our Goldfields branch. This is a Casual based role initially, with ongoing FIFO work opportunities from Perth travelling within the Goldfields area. The successful candidates will see themselves leading teams of Blast and Paint Crews on various project works including structural, piping installation, tank refurbishments and asset integrity. The ideal candidate will need to have had a previous experience of Goldfields sites' conditions. First nations people and female are encouraged to apply. PLEASE NOTE some sites will require candidates to be clean shaven and an up to date police clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising teams of Blaster Painters and Trade Assistants, ensuring works are completed efficiently
• Work with engineering team to interpret project technical information and ensures work is performed in accordance with relevant standards and specifications
• Ensure works are carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety
• Review and sign off on risk assessments and permits for work tasks performed on site
• Conduct pre-start briefings in alignment with the information provided to ensure all team members are informed and prepared
• Liaise between client representatives and core crew on work scope requirement and schedule

What you’ll bring

• Ideally 2-5 years experience minimum in a Supervisory role
• Knowledge of Goldfields clients is desirable
• Must hold s26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate (or have the capacity to obtain one)
• Proof of Right to Work in Australia
• Ability to pass National Police Clearance
