Job summary

ARYZTA seeks a Quality Assurance Supervisor – Systems & Compliance for our Liverpool, NSW bakery. You will support development and maintenance of quality systems and ensure raw materials and finished products meet ARYZTA’s standards and regulatory requirements.

The role reports to the QA Manager and is a full-time, on-site permanent position in Liverpool, NSW. You will drive continuous improvement, manage audits, and lead investigations into quality incidents while training staff on GMP and

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science or related discipline.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, systems or compliance in a food manufacturing environment.
• Practical experience with Quality Management Systems and regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and quality assurance principles.
• Experience coordinating internal, external and customer audits.
• Strong investigation, root-cause analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills; ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage and collaborate across teams.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints and quality incidents, driving corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality documentation, procedures and records, ensuring accuracy and effective document control.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve quality systems, processes and compliance performance across the site.
• Provide training, guidance and support to employees on quality, food safety and GMP.
• Monitor and report on quality and compliance performance, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor – Systems & Compliance to join our passionate and dedicated Quality Assurance team based at our industrial bakery in Liverpool, NSW .

Reporting to the QA Manager, this role will play a key part in supporting the development and maintenance of quality systems and compliance processes that underpin our in-plant quality assurance programs. You will help ensure that raw materials and finished products meet ARYZTA’s quality specifications, applicable standards, legislative requirements and customer expectations.

This is a Full-Time, on-site permanent position based at our Liverpool bakery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the site’s Quality Assurance systems to ensure compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring continued compliance with certification and company standards.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints and quality incidents, driving effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality documentation, procedures and records, ensuring accuracy and effective document control.
