Job summary

Wood is seeking a QA/QC Lead to provide direction to the Quality team in the Surat Basin, Queensland. The role focuses on driving contract quality plans, audits, ITP master listings, and risk-based quality delivery across the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will oversee audits, guide on QA training, and coordinate supplier quality activities while ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations. Full work rights in Australia required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a Quality role.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with the client to understand requirements and with Wood team members to implement Quality requirements.
• Demonstrates technical expertise, integrity and the ability to influence others to behave in the organisation's interest.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a Contract quality plan and ensure plan up to date through project lifecycle by regular monitoring.
• Prepare a Contract audit schedule and conduct audits.
• Prepare the ITP Master Listing defining ITPs required throughout the life of the Contract.
• Assign Quality resources to the Contract and communicate responsibilities to the Quality team.
• Coordinate and manage project service and product verification and inspection of deliverables.
