Holcim Australia and New Zealand is seeking a QA Administrator to oversee site QA requirements on a major infrastructure project. You will ensure QA system compliance and QC implementation, supporting audits and daily product conformity to Australian standards.

This 18-month contract offers an opportunity to contribute to a world-leading building materials company, with scope to grow skills in quality control, testing, reporting and stakeholder collaboration on site.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Quality Control and or relevant Engineering disciplines would be highly regarded.
• A sound understanding of Mechanical or Civil Engineering principles.
• Practical experience in the prestress, precast or reinforced concrete industry will be highly regarded but experience in related industries e.g. civil construction/ heavy industrial manufacturing and similar also considered.
• Interested in Project Management, delivering projects from infancy to final completion.
• Strong problem-solving ability and an ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Highly effective communication skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a given and you will be helped by your ability to maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Generating appropriate reports to assist management with the tracking of QSI costs weekly.
• Ensuring all testing standards are being met.
• Developing and managing the QA schedule.
• Working with the maintenance supervisor to ensure all moulds are set up correctly.
• Ensuring inventory stocks are correct for all product manufactured.
• Ensuring all new products manufactured weekly are checked and are in compliance with relevant standards.
• Working with leading hands and Supervisors to ensure product quality (dimensions, finish, correct inventory) are compliant.
• Conducting materials testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
