Job summary

WSP in Australia seeks a Project Civil / CQA Engineer to join the Geo-Environmental Engineering Applied Solutions team. You will deliver high‑impact civil and infrastructure projects across Queensland, with opportunities to support projects around Australia.

Role focuses on site-based quality control, instrumentation installation, data logging and telemetry systems, with FIFO travel and occasional office work in Perth as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in medium to large civil infrastructure construction with focus on Quality Control and Assurance.
• Fieldwork experience in instrumentation/electronics or site-based engineering.
• Demonstrated data logging and telemetry systems knowledge.
• Commitment to OH&S and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage construction projects ensuring adherence to quality control and assurance standards.
• Lead site activities, supervise labour, equipment and materials, and maintain safety records.
• Assist with construction plans, programs, tenders and technical reports.
• Apply engineering techniques to analyze drawings, estimate costs and drive cost control.
• Prepare specifications and quantities for review and collaborate with project teams.
• Deliver site-based instrumentation installation and commissioning for mining/construction projects.
• Maintain and operate instrumentation and data logging systems; work with innovative tech.
