Job summary

Insignia Financial in Melbourne is seeking a QA Engineer to join our Data Engineering team as we roll out a state-of-the-art data platform on Google Cloud, with BigQuery and plans for ML/AI innovations.

You will design and execute test scripts for data pipelines, collaborate with Data Engineers and QA Leads, and help integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality and reliability for millions of Australians.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in QA as a test engineer.
• Familiarity with Jira.
• Sound knowledge of testing in a data-centric environment (Data warehouse preferable).
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated test frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data analytics solutions through rigorous testing and validation.
• Design and execute test scripts to support data engineering initiatives.
• Work within project teams to ensure QA keeps momentum with build activities.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and QA Leads to integrate tests into continuous our test framework and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
