Job summary

Mendi Constructions, a Doyle Group company, is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to support civil construction projects in Townsville, North Queensland. This hands-on, site-based role focuses on quality assurance and daily project delivery, coordinating QA documentation and ensuring compliance with specifications.

You will work closely with project teams, clients and subcontractors, maintaining ITPs and quality records while supporting site engineering and close-out activities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with QA documentation, ITPs, inspections, testing and lot records.
• Strong understanding of civil construction drawings and specifications.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a QA Engineer, Site Engineer or similar role within civil construction

• A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

• Experience with QA documentation, ITPs, inspections, testing and lot records

• A strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, drawings and specifications

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• The ability to work effectively with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and clients

Experience working on Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects and with construction management systems such as Procore would be highly regarded.
