Austin Engineering is seeking a motivated Storeperson / QA Officer to join our Perth team in Kewdale. This hands-on role combines warehouse operations with quality assurance to ensure incoming parts meet specifications before stock is recorded.

You will receive, inspect, and dispatch parts, read engineering drawings, maintain ERP stock records, operate a forklift, and support safety and continuous improvement in a busy mining equipment environment.

Competenze

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) and Manual Driver's Licence.
• Experience in Stores, Warehouse or Logistics role and QA inspections.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, part specs and purchase orders.
• Experience using inventory management or ERP systems.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Receive, inspect and process incoming parts and materials.
• Perform physical quality inspections against specifications.
• Read and interpret drawings, part numbers, purchase orders and technical documentation.
• Identify, quarantine and report damaged, defective or non-conforming items.
• Maintain accurate inspection, inventory and stock records in the ERP system.
• Pick, pack and dispatch parts and materials to support workshop operations.
• Assist with stocktakes and inventory management activities.
• Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and freight providers.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across warehouse and yard.
• Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support workshop and operational teams to meet production requirements.
