Job summary

Pickles Auctions seeks an experienced Motor Vehicle Buyer to join our high-performing team in a secure, permanent role based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. We provide a phone, laptop and car allowance to support your work.

You will buy and source quality vehicles, inspect and value them accurately, and build strong relationships with dealers, wholesalers, fleets and customers while growing business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience buying and valuing motor vehicles, with a strong track record of commercial results.
• Established network across dealers, wholesalers, fleet, rental or automotive industry contacts.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle condition, including paint, panel, interiors and mechanical components.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and a genuine passion for customer service.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging customers face-to-face and over the phone.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage customer relationships and generate new business opportunities.
