We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Purchasing Officer at our site in Cavan, Adelaide. This role supports Procurement and Supply Chain by coordinating tactical purchasing and replenishment to the Production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience as Purchasing Administrator/Officer.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
• Understanding of purchasing from order to completion, including PO release and timely receipt.
• Understanding of inventory management concepts and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing: daily processing of requisitions to purchase orders and confirm delivery times.
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to deliver cost savings, manage risk and support production.
• Use SAP & ERP systems to process POs, expedite and monitor supply chain reporting.
• Support QA with raw materials testing procedures.
• Support R&D and Marketing with new materials search and sourcing.
• Ensure purchasing policies align with financial policies and prompt supplier payments.

Our mission 'To Unite & Delight the World Around Planet Positive Food'. We manufacture at our Adelaide facility and have commercial teams in North Sydney and Auckland.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Purchasing Officer at our site in Cavan.

This role will support Procurement and Supply Chain operations through the coordination of supply to the Production environment, coordinating the tactical purchasing and replenishment process.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing; Daily processing of approved purchase requisitions to purchase orders and confirming delivery times with suppliers.
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to deliver cost savings, manage risk, and support production objectives through effective sourcing, supplier evaluation, and negotiation.
• Use of SAP & ERP System to deliver purchase order processing and reporting, expediting, quality assurance and supply chain monitoring.
• Support the Quality Assurance team with raw materials testing procedures.
• Support the R&D and Marketing teams with new materials search and sourcing.
• Work with the Finance team to ensure Purchasing and Procurement policies and procedures are in line with financial policies to ensure prompt payment to suppliers and adherence to Financial Policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration or relevant discipline (preferred)
• Min 1-2 Years' experience as a Purchasing Administrator / Officer
• Highly proficient in MS Office and SAP
• Strong understanding of purchasing processes from order to completion, including release of purchase orders, coordination of timely receivable of goods and service and closure of orders
• Understanding of inventory management concepts and procedures
