Job summary

Coral Expeditions, Australia's pioneering cruise line, is seeking a Purchasing Executive/Assistant based in Cairns, Queensland. You will assist with the ongoing provisioning of the vessels, warehouse stock and general office ordering to keep operations running smoothly.

This role supports marine provisioning, stock control and supplier liaison within a friendly NRMA Group environment, offering hands-on experience, teamwork and opportunities to contribute to multiple itineraries.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or purchasing is preferred.
• Ability to work with suppliers and internal teams.
• Comfortable in a dynamic hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Raise Purchase Orders from requisitions covering marine provisioning such as hotel, deck and engineering supplies.
• Maintain crew uniform stocks - purchase and receipt of new stocks, issuance to crew, dry cleaning of returned uniforms and recording stock movements.
• Monitor and maintain office supplies, including stationery and amenities.
• General Stores duties – receiving, despatch and ensuring a clean warehouse environment; driving a manual ute is required.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by management.

Job Description

As the Purchasing Executive, youwill be responsible for assisting with the ongoing provisioning of the vessels, warehouse stock and general office ordering.

As the Purchasing Assistant, youwill be responsible for assisting with the ongoing provisioning of the vessels, warehouse stock and general office ordering.This position is Cairns Queensland based.

Responsibilities

• Raise Purchase Orders from requisitions covering all aspects of marine provisioning such as hotel, deck and engineering supplies.
• Maintain crew uniform stocks- purchase and receipt of new stocks, issuance to crew, arranging. drycleaning of returned uniforms and entering data to record stock movement.
• Monitor and maintain office supplies, including stationery and amenities.
• General Stores duties – receiving, despatch and ensuring a clean warehouse environment. Job will also involve driving a manual ute, a Manual Drivers Licence is essential.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by management.
