Job summary

Port Stephens Council is seeking two Amenities and Maintenance Cleaners to join our Public Place Cleaning team across Shoal Bay, Nelson Bay, Fingal Bay and surrounding areas. The permanent, full-time roles offer 38 hours per week with a 9-day fortnight.

Shifts start early at 4:30am and finish by 1:30pm, with weekend work on a rotating roster. A base salary of $63,330–$66,473 plus 12% super and additional allowances applies.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning or grounds maintenance.
• Ability to work alone and unsupervised.
• Good customer service skills when interacting with the public.
• Current Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas and maintain facilities across the East council area.
• Maintain grounds, buildings, and outdoor amenities.
• Clean vehicles, trolleys, and barbeques.
• Assist with chemical decanting as required.
