Job summary

PM&C invites graduates in Humanities, Arts or Social Sciences to join a 12-month graduate program in Canberra. The program offers mentoring, a starting APS3 salary of 79,707 AUD plus 15.4% superannuation, and potential advancement after six months to the APS4 salary.

It includes three rotations across diverse work areas and generous relocation support. You will provide impartial policy advice, help implement federal relations architecture, and engage with state and territory departments.

Qualifications

• Graduates in Humanities, Arts or Social Sciences from university are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide frank and impartial advice on Commonwealth policy proposals and major funding agreements.
• Support the implementation of the federal relations architecture and liaise with state and territory First Ministers’ Departments.
• Contribute to a broad range of priorities including domestic policy, social policy, health, climate change and environment.
• Engage in cross-portfolio work across policy areas and support career development during the 12-month program.
