Job summary

Okta, the world’s identity company, seeks a senior Public Sector Account Executive to drive territory growth for Workforce Identity. You will secure net-new logos and expand strategic government accounts, partnering with cross-functional teams to modernise identity and AI-enabled security postures.

This role focuses on high-regulation environments, cloud adoption, and strong executive engagement to deliver secure, scalable identity solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of success selling complex Public Sector, enterprise SaaS, or cyber security solutions.
• Proven ability to win net-new logos and expand strategic government or highly regulated accounts.
• Strong understanding of workforce identity, access management, cyber security, cloud transformation, and enterprise technology buying cycles.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders across Security, IT, Digital, Risk, Operations, and Executive audiences.
• Strong technical and commercial acumen, connecting identity and security solutions to business outcomes.
• Excellent discovery, communication, presentation, and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute territory plan for pipeline generation and net-new logo acquisition.
• Deliver revenue targets and support territory growth.
• Develop account strategies to generate pipeline and achieve bookings.
• Lead stakeholder alignment, account planning, negotiations, and business reviews.
• Collaborate with xDRs, Partners, Presales, and Professional Services to progress opportunities.
