Randstad - Finance & Accounting is seeking a Business Manager for a 6-month contract in South Australia. The role focuses on strategic financial support, management accounting, and financial advisory in the public sector. Immediate start with an hourly rate plus superannuation.

Key duties include budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and producing monthly reports for senior leadership. You will partner with directors and central finance to deliver clear financial guidance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Commerce or Business with professional accreditation preferred.
• Experience in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Ability to perform complex reconciliations and manage financial transactions accurately.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with financial systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide core management accounting support and financial advisory to leadership.
• Develop annual budgets and forecasts with management input.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and manage journals, accruals, and invoices.
• Produce monthly financial reports and assist with financial statements.
• Engage with stakeholders to deliver timely financial guidance.
