Randstad is partnering with a prominent Queensland Public Sector organisation to recruit a permanent Finance Business Partner based on the Gold Coast.

In this AO5 role you will provide strategic financial analysis, budgeting, and performance management advice to operational leadership to drive decision-making and fiscal performance, including month-end processes and reporting. A strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and ERP systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial analysis and business partnering within a complex organisation.
• End-to-end financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting, and month-end close.
• Ability to translate complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders and influence decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex financial research and variance analysis to identify key performance drivers.
• Perform cost-driver and profitability analyses across operational units to drive efficiencies.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting, and financial implications guidance to operational managers.
• Build strong business partnering relationships and translate insights for non-finance stakeholders.
• Deliver timely management reporting, month-end processes, and account reconciliations.
• Support continuous process improvements and financial capability across regions.
