Job summary

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification with a minimum of 5 years in public practice.
• Strong experience reviewing tax returns and financial statements across entity types.
• Advanced knowledge of Australian tax laws and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Review individual, company, trust, and partnership tax returns, including CGT.
• Review financial statements, working papers, and compliance engagements to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Manage workflow allocation and compliance deadlines across the team
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional and timely service delivery.
• Review SMSF tax returns and financial statements (highly regarded but not essential).
• Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with team members while independently managing complex accounting matters.
• Ensure compliance with Australian taxation legislation and accounting standards.
