Douglas Shire Council seeks a Labourer for Public and Natural Areas to maintain council spaces, ensuring safety, presentation and compliance with WHS and environmental standards. The role involves physically demanding landscape work and safe use of mowing and cutting tools in a tropical environment.

The successful candidate will hold a current LR licence, White Card, and relevant tickets or be willing to obtain them, with a 76-hour fortnight roster.

Formación

• Current LR Driver Licence.
• General Safety Induction – White Card.
• Willingness to obtain Traffic Awareness Parts 1&2 within 48 hours of commencement.
• Current Agricultural Chemical Distribution Control ticket or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Physically capable of demanding landscape and horticultural tasks in tropical environments.

Responsabilidades

• Undertakes day-to-day maintenance of public spaces.
