Job summary

ACT NoWaste is seeking a Waste Education Coordinator to deliver administration and engagement activities supporting the Waste Education and Partnerships team in the ACT. The role involves coordinating events, bookings, and presenting information to the public.

You will provide responsive customer service, manage inquiries, and assist with content creation for education materials, while handling procurement and stock management in a busy public-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Current Driver’s licence required.
• First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the implementation of waste education activities, including venue bookings and engaging with the general public at presentations and event information stands.
• Applying high quality and responsive customer service to community and stakeholders.
• Assisting with the shared customer inbox and hotline, updating FAQs, and preparing responses to resident enquiries.
• Researching and drafting content for waste education materials, such as A-Z Guide web pages.
• Administering tasks for production including financial administration, small procurement and stock management.
