Job summary

GRACosway is seeking an Associate to join our Adelaide office, working on a mix of political, policy and regulatory issues as part of our national Public Affairs practice. This full-time role would suit someone in the early stages of their career and offers variety and room to grow.

Based at Level 1, 275 Rundle Street, Adelaide, the role involves drafting materials, researching policy issues and monitoring developments to keep clients informed. Right to work in Australia is required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in politics, business, communications, law or related discipline.
• Interest in politics, public policy, news and current affairs.
• Strong communication, research, writing and presentation skills.
• Sound time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings and provide support with drafting materials.
• Prepare briefing materials on political and policy developments.
• Conduct detailed research on policy issues.
• Monitor developments in parliament and media and provide updates to clients.
• Contribute to external publications, including the weekly Wrap Up.
