Job summary

Cura Day Hospitals Group in Brisbane’s Spring Hill head office is seeking an experienced Public Activity Coordinator to join as a full-time team member. The role focuses on coordinating Surgery Connect activity and ensuring smooth patient flow across sites.

You will produce operational reports, engage with medical practitioners, and manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and communication. Applicants must have right to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating Surgery Connect activity.
• Experience with SCAN: patient monitoring, reporting, data extraction and activity management.
• Understanding of patient registration, admissions and patient flow processes.
• Experience producing operational and performance reports.
• Knowledge of public hospital outsourcing programs and elective surgery pathways.
• Experience engaging with Medical Practitioners and doctors' rooms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Surgery Connect activity across private, public or perioperative settings.
• Produce operational and performance reports for site and regional teams.
• Engage with Medical Practitioners and doctors' rooms to support pathways.
• Identify risks and escalate issues to management.
• Influence outcomes across multiple sites through effective stakeholder engagement.
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication while managing priorities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience coordinating Surgery Connect activity within a private hospital, public hospital or Surgery Connect environment is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience using SCAN, including patient monitoring, reporting, data extraction and activity management is highly desirable.
• Understanding of patient registration, admissions and patient flow processes.
• Experience producing operational and performance reports.
• Knowledge of public hospital outsourcing programs and elective surgery pathways is highly desirable.
• Experience engaging with Medical Practitioners and doctors' rooms is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to administrative excellence.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to identify risks and escalate issues appropriately.
• Well-developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
