Job summary

Jimboomba Tavern, part of ALH Hotels, is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead on-floor service in a fast-paced Logan region venue. You will work with a team of assistant managers to share shifts, drive service standards, and support the Publican in day-to-day operations.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong people skills, and current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers licences as per state requirements. Enthusiasm and a collaborative spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring people leadership and hospitality skills.
• Experience in bar, bistro, or gaming environments is advantageous.
• Current RSA/RSG and management licence are mandatory per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead floor operations across the venue during busy periods and events.
• Support the Publican to run the pub safely, smoothly and with a great vibe.
• Coordinate and develop a team of assistant managers to share shifts.
• Resolve issues quickly to maintain service standards and customer satisfaction.
• Drive game-day and gaming/retail operations with energy and leadership.
