Job summary

Endeavour Group is seeking a driven Assistant Manager for Jimboomba Tavern, Logan region, QLD. You’ll work within a multi-manager, floor-first structure and lead a team to deliver high standards during busy dining, sports bar, and gaming shifts.

The role requires hands-on leadership, physical duties, and a commitment to safe, energetic service. RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence are required, with opportunities for growth within the Endeavour Group network.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising hospitality teams is a plus.
• RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence required by state.
• Strong people skills and calm leadership in a fast-paced venue.

Responsibilities

• Lead floor operations across busy service periods as part of a team of Assistant Managers.
• Support the Publican to ensure smooth, safe, and vibrant pub operations.
• Oversee gaming, retail and dining floor activities and resolve issues on shift.

Are you a hospitality professional ready to run the floor at one of the Logan region's most dynamic, high-tempo venues? The Jimboomba Tavern is looking for a driven Assistant Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels in a team-led management structure.

We skip the traditional isolated Duty Manager model, instead, our venue is powered by a team of multiple Assistant Managers. You’ll work alongside a strong group of peers to share shift load, collaborate on floor strategy, and drive standards together. Whether steering a busy weekend dining service in the bistro, orchestrating game-day trade in the sports bar, or managing gaming and retail operations, you’ll be right in the heart of the action with total floor-level support.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements
