Job summary

Oxley Tavern in Brisbane’s southwest is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive floor operations in a high-tempo venue. You’ll work within a team of multiple Assistant Managers to share shift loads, set floor strategy, and uphold standards across dining, sports bar, and gaming areas.

You’ll lead from the floor, support the Publican, and help create a safe, vibrant pub environment with strong guest relations and hands-on training for peers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hospitality management experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift/move stock.
• Current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements.
• Proven supervisory background in pub, bistro or gaming settings.

Responsibilities

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew.
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe.
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of hospo legends.
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches.
• Bring energy, service, and smiles every shift.
