Job summary

Don Hodge Group is seeking a senior hospitality professional to lead operations at The East Hills Hotel in southwest Sydney. The role is ideal for an experienced Assistant Manager, Duty Manager, or Operations-focused Pub Manager ready for the next step.

Lead daily venue operations across bar, bistro and gaming, mentor a team of casual staff, and uphold service standards while maintaining a positive workplace culture. RSA, RCG and TAB compliance are required.

Step up into a senior leadership role with one of our southwest Sydney venues, The East Hills Hotel.

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on hospitality professional ready to take the next step in their career. This venue operates under the Don Hodge Group/Hodge Hotels banner, joining an established portfolio of venues across Sydney, Newcastle, and regional NSW.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager, Duty Manager or Operations-focused Pub Manager who’s ready to step into something new.

We are a suburban pub with a loyal local crowd. The site includes:

What You’ll Do

Lead day-to-day venue operations across bar, bistro and gaming

Manage and mentor a team of casual staff

Enforce service, standards and venue compliance

Provide a positive workplace culture

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a 2IC, Assistant Manager, or Duty Manager in a pub or large hospitality environment

Strong leadership and communication skills

A people-first attitude – you lead from the front and support your team

RSA, RCG and TAB compliance certificates (required)

A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences
