Job summary

The Learning Sanctuary Freshwater, part of G8 Education, invites applications for an Assistant Centre Manager to lead our 74‑place service and foster a rich learning environment for children aged 0–5. This role focuses on quality learning experiences and positive outcomes for families.

The position is 30 hours per week on a six‑month contract, requiring an ACECQA approved Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood, strong EYLF/NQS knowledge, and a current Working with Children Check.

The Learning Sanctuary Freshwaterhas an exciting opportunity for a passionateAssistant Centre Managerto join our 74-place service. We are seeking a dedicated team member with the drive to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children. Our Centre is well equipped with resources and programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework curriculum, including a specialised Kindergarten program.

This is a part-time role, working 30 hours per week, on a six-month contract

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities. At capacity our centre caters for 74children with operating hours between 07:30 - 18:00

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approvedDiploma in Children’s Services or a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)


• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)


• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• A current Working with Children Check


• First Aid certificate
