Job summary

Townsville Hospital and Health Service is seeking a senior paediatric psychologist to deliver frontline clinical services across neonatal and paediatric wards, as well as outpatient paediatric care. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, notably audiology for cochlear implant outpatients, and support education and service development within the department.

The role is part-time (38 hours per fortnight) with a competitive HP4 salary, annual leave and employer superannuation benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires APAC-accredited four-year psychology qualification.
• Eligible for provisional or general registration with AHPRA (PsychBA).
• Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical or Health Psychology is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline clinical services to neonatal, paediatric ICU and paediatric wards.
• Deliver outpatient paediatric clinical services and support multidisciplinary teams, including audiology for cochlear implant outpatients.
• Contribute to service development and education within the paediatric clinical program.
