Job summary

Queensland Government, Townsville Hospital Psychology Service, seeks a General Psychologist to contribute to enhanced patient access, assessments and interventions within a multidisciplinary setting.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient-centred care, and collaboration with allied health teams across Townsville Hospital & Health Service sites. Eligible for registration with AHPRA and possible endorsement in clinical areas is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• APAC-accredited four-year psychology qualification.
• Eligible for provisional or general registration with AHPRA.
• Area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology/Neuropsychology/Educational & Developmental Psychology/Health Psychology highly regarded.
• PsychBA supervisor status (PsychBA approved).

(HP3)4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading12.75% employer contribution to superannuationPlus Salary Sacrificing options may be availableRequirements:Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration:Psychologist - General Applicants must possess an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited four year qualification in Psychology, and be eligible for provisional and/or general registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Psychology Board of Australia (PsychBA).
