Better Life Centre in Kedron, Brisbane, seeks clinicians to deliver psychology and OT services to children, adolescents and adults. You control your caseload, work hours, and benefit from a proactive admin team that manages calendars, reminders, and client communications.

Formación

• Must be registered with AHPRA (general or clinical).
• Willing to work with clients aged 4–18; all ages caseload acceptable.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with your preferred client types.

• Strong interest in continuing learning in evidence-based modalities.

You have a steady flow of diverse clients allowing you to control your caseload.

Our legendary admin team proactively maximise your calendar and complete all client admin for you, allowing you to concentrate on your clinical excellence.

You decide your work hours and your caseload mix/volume.

You are constantly supported by 13+ colleagues averaging 12 years' experience, including 7 years at Better Life Centre (so we're doing lots right!).

You are financially rewarded for your experience, with all client fees paid directly into your own bank account, on the day of service.

Our existing Clinicians who work with kids and adolescents are at capacity, and Clinicians working with adults have reducing capacity, so new clients will be quickly available.

Supporting clients for 25 years - our Founder Santo still practices in the clinic part-time, and oversees monthly peer support sessions! - Better Life Centre is a widely respected Psychology and OT service, working with clients of all ages, primarily Medicare-based. Both Assessment and Therapy clients. Centrally located in Kedron, the clinic is a modern yet homely environment, creating a friendly and safe atmosphere for clients.

Our experienced team of supported Private Practitioners includes 12 therapists: 2 x Clinical Psychologist; 5 x Ed & Dev Psychologists; 4 General Psychologists; 1 x Senior OT.

Our therapists have an average 12 years' clinical experience, including over 7 years at Better Life Centre on average. Therapists describe our workplace culture as “fantastic”, surrounded by “knowledgeable”, “empathetic”, and “generous clinicians”.We gather monthly for group clinical peer support.

What we ask of you:

Holdgeneral or clinical Psychologist registrationwithAHPRA (no Provisional Psychologists, thanks, though always happy to share information with Provs).

Willing to work with clients aged 4-18yo, to expedite early client allocation. Seeking an all ages caseload is also fine.

Havea minimum 2 years’ experienceworkingwithyour preferred client types.

Registered with Medicare or the ability to obtain a provider number before commencement.

Demonstrateacompassionate,gentleapproach.

Haveastronginterestto continue learning in evidence-based modalities.

Arewarm,personable,andcapableofworkingbothinateamandautonomously.

What we offer

Competitivehourly compensation. 5 hours work in a day sees you with $850+ already in your bank account at day's end. 6 hours equals $1,120+ in your bank, same day. Potential for higher earnings on Saturdays and evenings.
