Your Therapy Place is seeking a Registered or Clinical Psychologist to join our Rockhampton clinic. You will work full-time or part-time, focusing on meaningful clinical work within a warm, client-centered team.

Develop your clinical interests with support and resources from a multidisciplinary group, while maintaining ethical practice and high-quality care for clients and their families.

Qualifications

• Qualified psychologist with registration (AHPRA) and ongoing professional development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse clients.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and with families/caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention.

We are a multidisciplinary team of Psychologists, Counsellors, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Allied Health Assistants and a dedicated administration team who genuinely care about the people we work with, both our clients and each other.

Our administration team supports clinicians with client intakes, scheduling, communication and paperwork so you can spend more of your time focused on meaningful clinical work.

About the Role

This is a full-time or part-time, in-clinic Registered or Clinical Psychologist role based at our Rockhampton clinic.

You will work with a varied caseload, with the opportunity to shape your work around your experience and areas of clinical interest.

Your day-to-day may include:

• Providing evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention within your scope of practice
• Developing individualised treatment and support plans
• Providing psychological therapy to clients with a range of presenting needs
• Conducting assessments where appropriate to your experience and area of practice
• Working collaboratively with families, carers and other relevant stakeholders
• Preparing clinical documentation, progress reports and other professional reports
• Liaising with other health professionals, support coordinators and external providers
• Participating in peer supervision and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Maintaining professional and ethical standards in line with AHPRA and relevant professional requirements

You will have the flexibility and support to develop your own clinical interests while remaining connected to a wider multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Recognised qualification in Psychology
• Current general registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
• Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or willingness to obtain
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) or willingness to obtain
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining professional development and registration requirements
