Job summary

AKG Health seeks psychologists and speech pathologists to work as independent contractors across South Australia. You will conduct high-quality assessments in government schools and provide comprehensive reports with results and recommendations for student participation and learning.

Contractors may deliver speech pathology interventions up to 15 hours and are supported with referrals, consent, and a structured report proforma.

Qualifications

• Psychologist with current General Registration status with AHPRA OR speech pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia membership
• Minimum 3 years' experience conducting standardised assessments relevant to your discipline
• Demonstrated knowledge and competence with a variety of assessment tools to meet the needs across different schools
• Strong assessment and report writing skills with attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise, plan and organise workflow to tight timeframes
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong administrative, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven IT literacy, particularly in common applications including Microsoft Office Word, email and web usage
• Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and National Police Check

Responsibilities

• Conduct standardised assessments in government schools for psychologists or speech pathologists
• Provide comprehensive reports with findings and recommendations to support student learning
• Utilise a range of assessment tools appropriate to each discipline
• Coordinate travel and scheduling to fit school terms and availability
• Collaborate with families, schools and senior clinical team as needed
