Overview

We are seeking experienced psychologists or Speech Pathologists to join our supportive and professional team. We conduct assessments for students with suspected intellectual development disorder or developmental language disorder attending government schools across Victoria. These assessments provide information about students' individual strengths and needs and are used to support schools and families with educational planning.

Thisworkisagreatoptionforprofessionalslookingtotransitionfrompermanentemploymentpositionstocontracting/private work and we will support and guide you as part of this transition. Italsooffersflexibilityforthoseworkingpart-timeinotherrolesor/andbalancingworkandfamilycommitments.

To be eligible to apply for these roles you must have an appropriate Australian or New Zealand work visa. Appropriate candidates will also possess the following education, experience and capabilities:

• Psychologist with General Registration or Speech Pathologist (registration with AHPRA/SPA)
• Experienceworkingwithchildren,adolescentsandtheirfamilies
• Experienceworkingwithinaschoolsettings(preferred,butnotessential)
• Strongreport-writingskills,withtheabilitytowritereportsforthetargetaudience
• Strongassessmentskills(criticalthinking,gathering/analysing/synthesisinginformation)
• ProvenITliteracy,particularlyincommonapplicationsincludingMicrosoftOfficeWord,emailandwebusage
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong administrative, communication andinterpersonalskills

Candidates are required to have their own assessment tool/s or have ready access to the sameviatheirownnetworks

At least one of the following is required: WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, approved nonverbal assessment tool. For Speech Pathologists CELF-5, CELF-P:3, TOLD-P:5, TOLD-I:5, CASL2, PLS5

If you currently work with DE, we/DE require an "Other Work (Outside Employment) Declaration and Approval" form to be completed

Comprehensive training in the program and report requirements will be provided, as well as induction,ongoing clinical support, and Professional Development (PD) days. The training, clinical support, and PD days provided will add to your annual professional development requirements for the Psychology Board of Australia.
