Queensland Health is offering a permanent full-time role to deliver competent, evidence-based psychological clinical services for consumers with complex mental health issues, their families, carers and stakeholders. This occurs in an acute emergency department setting and a home-based service.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• As a member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), deliver competent psychological clinical services to consumers with complex mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) needs. Practice must be evidence-based, ethically sound, and culturally safe, ensuring consumer-focused outcomes.
• Provide competent psychological advice and education to the multidisciplinary team (MDT), operational supervisors, and key stakeholders on professional standards and clinical service development.
• Contribute to the identification, development, and implementation of quality and service improvement initiatives that enhance consumer care and strengthen multidisciplinary service delivery.
