Job summary

Mind Up in Spotswood, VIC is seeking a Registered Psychologist to provide evidence-based psychological therapy to clients across children, adolescents and adults, with a caseload shaped to your interests and clinical strengths.

You will have autonomy over your clinical work, supported by an experienced administration team and a collaborative, growth-focused culture, with flexible arrangements, supervision and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in psychology.
• Current general or clinical registration with AHPRA.
• Eligibility for a Medicare provider number.
• A current Employee Working with Children Check.
• A current National Police Check.
• Understanding of relevant ethical, professional and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Registered Psychologist to join our team on a full-time basis. We're also open to part-time arrangements for the right person, with a minimum commitment of three days per week.

About the Opportunity

You'll provide evidence-based psychological support to clients within your areas of experience and interest.

Mind Up supports people at different stages of life, providing opportunities to work with a varied caseload across children aged five and above, adolescents and adults. Your caseload can be shaped around the age groups, presentations and clinical areas that best align with your skills and professional interests.

You'll have the autonomy to manage your clinical work, supported by an experienced administration team and a group of approachable, collaborative clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapy.
• Work with clients from different age groups, depending on your experience and interests.

• Facilitate Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy sessions as part of Mind Ups Phobia Treatment Program.
• Where interested, contribute to workshops, presentations or group programs.

About You

You're a capable and compassionate psychologist who enjoys working independently while remaining connected to a supportive team.

You will bring:

• General or clinical registration with AHPRA
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice
• The ability to work autonomously and manage your clinical responsibilities
• A collaborative, professional and emotionally intelligent approach
• An interest in working with clients across different age groups or within your preferred client population
• Experience supporting clients with trauma and/or phobias (valued but not essential)

Essential Requirements

• A recognised qualification in psychology
• Current general or clinical registration with AHPRA
