Job summary

RMSI is seeking a skilled Provisioning Engineer to join the network operations team. You will own approved network designs and deliver them through to successful service activation on the live network.

You will plan, configure, test, and commission services across fibre, transport, and IP networks, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Shift-based environment and on-site work in Australia are involved.

Qualifications

• Hands-on provisioning and service activation across fibre, transport, and IP networks.
• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in network provisioning in telecom/service provider environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or related field (Diploma may be considered with strong experience).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of approved orders and deliver to service activation within committed timeframes.
• Plan provisioning activities, book change windows, prepare scripts, verify prerequisites before activation.
• Configure, activate, and commission services on live network per design and change management.
