Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Prototyping Architect to join the ANZ Prototyping and AI Customer Engineering (PACE) team. You will apply lean, AI-enabled development to deliver rapid MVPs and prototypes for our leading clients across Australia and New Zealand.

The role requires strong distributed systems design, large-scale automation, API design, and security expertise, with a focus on collaborating across cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to market.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

Responsibilities

• In this position, you will play a pivotal role in building ground breaking capabilities, maintaining operational excellence through a strong Amazonian devops culture, and championing the needs of the customer.
• We are seeking passionate Prototyping Architects with proven and demonstrable skill and expert knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation, large scale automation and workflow management, database design and implementation, API design and implementation and security. Key language skills Python, Javascript/Typescript.
