Job summary

Amazon Australia is seeking a Senior Prototyping Engineer to join the Prototyping and AI Customer Engineering (PACE) team. You will help customers translate strategic visions into rapid MVP prototypes, applying lean startup principles and AI-enabled development in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Based in Australia, you will contribute to ground-breaking capabilities, build scalable prototypes, and work with ANZ customers across diverse industries while traveling to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• 8+ years in technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Build ground breaking capabilities and maintain operational excellence through a strong Amazonian devops culture.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation, large-scale automation and workflow management, database design and implementation, API design and implementation, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and AWS customers to deliver prototypes aligned with strategic visions.
