Thales Group is hiring a Protective Security Officer for our Eagle Farm site in Brisbane. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, patrolling the site, and managing access and contractor approvals during day shifts from 6:00am to 4:00pm.

You will respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies, support security reporting and risk management, and build strong relationships with employees and visitors while upholding a positive security culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in security, defence, law enforcement or similar environments.
• Ability to respond to incidents quickly and professionally.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a relevant security licence.

Working as part of our newly established in-house security team, you'll deliver frontline security support, incident response and site assurance activities while providing a professional and visible security presence.**YOUR ROLE**Role located at Eagle Farm, with working hours between 6:00am and 4:00pm* Maintain a visible security presence through patrols, site checks and security assurance activities* Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies quickly and professionally* Manage site access, visitor coordination and contractor approvals* Support security compliance, reporting and risk management activities* Build strong relationships with employees, visitors and stakeholders while promoting a positive security culture**YOUR EXPERIENCE*** Experience in security, Defence, law enforcement, emergency services or a similar operational environment* Strong knowledge of security, risk management and site safety practices* Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships* Able to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments* Experience in incident response, access control and visitor management is highly regarded* Eligibility to obtain and maintain a relevant State or Territory Security Licence applicable to the role**AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITY**A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
