Job summary

Rheinmetall Defence in Australia seeks a Project Manager – Protection Systems to own planning, coordination and delivery of armour protection systems. You will define and manage work breakdown structures, schedules, resources and budgets while tracking performance and proactively managing risks.

This role spans multiple business areas, ensuring projects stay on track and are delivered successfully, with involvement in technology qualification, validation and delivery.

Qualifications

• BSc/graduate level or higher in a relevant field.
• Strong planning and financial management capabilities.
• Experience in production, manufacturing or supply chain.
• Eligible for NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Owns project planning, coordination and delivery of armour protection systems; defines and manages WBS, schedules, resources and budgets.
• Tracks performance, reports progress and proactively identifies and manages risks.
• Works across multiple areas of the business to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Involves technology qualification, validation and delivery activities.
