Job summary

Rheinmetall Defence Australia seeks a Project Manager - Protection Systems to own planning, coordination and delivery of armour protection systems in a fast-paced environment. You will define work breakdown structures, schedules, resources and budgets while tracking progress and proactively managing risks.

This role involves cross-functional work across the business, contributing to technology qualification, validation and delivery and driving successful project outcomes in a dynamic defence

Qualifications

• PM background with engineering/production or supply chain.
• Experience planning, scheduling, budgeting and risk management.
• Ability to work across multiple business areas and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

About the Team

Join a small, high-impact team within Rheinmetall Defence's Weapon and Ammunitions business unit, delivering critical Protections Systems projects including MASS, Land 400 Phase 2 and more.

Working closely with the Program Director - Weapons, Ammunition and Protection, you'll be part of a collaborative team responsible for taking projects through manufacturing, integration and delivery. About the Role

As the Project Manager - Protection Systems you'll take ownership of the planning, coordination and delivery of armour protection systems. You will define and then manage project work breakdown structures, schedules, resources and budgets while tracking performance, reporting progress and proactively identify and manage risks.

This is a varied role that will see you work across multiple areas of the business, ensuring projects remain on track and are delivered successfully. In this role you will be involved in key technology qualification, validation and delivery.
