Job summary
Siemens Australia in Ryde, NSW, is seeking an experienced Tendering Engineer to join our Electrification & Automation team. You will develop technically strong and commercially competitive proposals across our Protection & Automation portfolio, working with Sales, Engineering and Operations to deliver customer-focused solutions.
The role combines technical tendering with pricing strategy, process optimisation and digitalisation initiatives, offering exposure to global projects and opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor engineering qualification or equivalent in electrical/power automation related field.
- Experience with protection, substation automation, RTU, control or communication systems.
- Experience in tendering, proposals, estimating, pricing or technical sales in electrical/energy environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical and commercial tenders across Siemens Protection & Automation portfolio meeting customer requirements.
- Analyse RFQs and specs, prepare compliance docs and coordinate stakeholder inputs.
- Develop pricing models, estimates and commercial proposals for competitive outcomes.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Management and Operations to deliver customer-focused solutions.
