Job summary

North Shore Private Hospital is seeking a Prosthesis Officer to oversee the procurement, supply and reconciliation of prosthetic products for operating theatres. You will work with clinical teams, suppliers and hospital departments to ensure timely, cost-effective purchasing and accurate stock control.

You will manage purchasing workflows, monitor stock levels, and respond to changing Commonwealth Prosthesis Schedule updates while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with purchasing systems (SAP or similar) and strong MS Office skills.
• Experience in healthcare, medical supply, or theatre environment is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing and inventory of prosthetic products in line with hospital contracts.
• Monitor stock levels, perform replenishment and stocktakes to reduce waste.
• Maintain supplier relationships and ensure compliant product delivery.
