Job summary

UnitingCare Hospital is seeking an experienced Prosthesis & Supply Manager to lead prosthesis management, clinical consumables governance, revenue assurance and supply chain optimisation across our hospital network. You will partner with clinicians, theatre teams, finance and suppliers to deliver commercial value while ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.

You will drive end-to-end management, oversee inventory programs, analyse spend and reimbursement data, and develop executive dashboards

Qualifications

• Significant experience in supply chain management and prosthesis management in a related healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of prosthesis and high-value clinical consumables management, including inventory control and supply management.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and delivering cost optimisation outcomes.
• Understanding of prosthesis billing, reimbursement, revenue assurance and procurement governance requirements.
• Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting operational and financial performance data.
• Proven ability to build effective partnerships with clinicians, finance teams, theatre teams and senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership experience developing and leading high-performing teams.
• Eligibility to legally work in Australia and ability to satisfy probity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end prosthesis management program across UnitingCare Hospitals.
• Ensure accurate prosthesis billing, reimbursement and utilisation.
• Drive initiatives to reduce revenue leakage and maximise reimbursement outcomes.
• Manage relationships with prosthesis suppliers and rebatable clinical consumables vendors.
• Lead product evaluations, clinical trials and standardisation initiatives.
• Support commercial value improvement opportunities.
• Oversee inventory management, consignment stock programs and continuity of supply for critical products.
• Analyse utilisation, spend, reimbursement and supplier performance data to inform decision making.
• Support the development of executive dashboards and reporting to monitor key supply chain and financial performance indicators.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
